Produce detailed electrical, civil, and structural drawings for power engineering projects in Salem, OR
Create and update system layouts, electrical schematics, and structural designs
Use AutoCAD, Solid Works, and related drafting software to deliver accurate project drawings
Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet project requirements
Ensure drawings align with applicable standards, specifications, and client needs
Maintain organized project documentation and conduct quality reviews
Support ongoing improvements to drafting and design processes

At least 2 years of experience in design and drafting within a utility, power engineering, or engineering environment
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works
Working knowledge of power engineering systems, including substations, transmission, relay protection, and structural components
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or a related field preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is a plus
