Air Liquide Spatial Guyane Job Opportunity
Air Liquide Spatial Guyane (ALSG) is a strategic subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group located at the Guiana Space Centre. It plays a key role in the European space adventure. ALSG's mission is to ensure the production and supply of cryotechnical fluids (hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, helium, compressed air) essential for the propulsion of the new generation Ariane and Vega launchers. By joining ALSG, you will be part of a unique production site in the world, where the requirement for reliability directly contributes to the success of each launch.
We are a trusted partner for all space industry stakeholders present at the launch pads.
How will you contribute and grow?
Integrated into the routine maintenance team of the two sites, you will carry out the following missions:
Regulatory Execution and Compliance of Pressure Equipment and Accessories:
Perform hydraulic test operations on Pressure Equipment (PE) and their safety accessories independently after a training period. Ensure reliability and safety of interventions through the use of appropriate tools and in strict compliance with procedures. Maintain and monitor the regulatory controls of the rolling stock of the trailer park and the lifting equipment of the entire ALSG site. Ensure traceability of all interventions through the CMMS and equipment follow-up booklets, including the correct writing and transmission of Minutes (PV).
Represent ALSG during interventions and controls with notified bodies and the DEAL. Have the authority to immediately stop any intervention if safety conditions are not strictly met, and communicate effectively with management and base contacts.
Organization, Planning, and Improvement:
Optimize your work organization by collaborating with the production service to ensure the availability of PE in the factory, and with the interface (ESQS-Apave) for PE under contract base. Update the database of Pressure Equipment according to new equipment and adaptations of the maintenance plan and regulation. Monitor the calibration validity of the tools provided to you. Ensure the proper maintenance of the workshop and tooling.
Propose improvements to the maintenance plan in interface with the maintenance manager. Plan the maintenance of rolling stock and all required controls by regulation. Coordinate and follow up with external companies for maintenance operations and controls on lifting equipment to ensure compliance. Provide the technical expertise needed to develop ESP control offers for ALSG customers. Communicate effectively with your hierarchy and base contacts.
The position will eventually include a weekly on-call duty (one on-call every 4 to 5 weeks) for the operation of an ALSG production unit after a training period.
