A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite and clear conditions for Agency and Non-Agency loans
- Analyze risk for initial credit decisions based on various guidelines
- Communicate errors and missing information to processors and issue final approvals
- Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent combination of education and experience
- SAR and / or DE certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriter experience preferred
- Working knowledge of mortgage banking software and underwriting processes
- Experience with USDA and Bond programs is a plus
