Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
A financial analyst associate at Salem Health supports senior leadership by analyzing financial data, preparing forecasts and reports and providing recommendations that guide business decisions. The role also focuses on maintaining financial planning systems, developing business cases, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and collaborating with leaders across the organization to improve financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
What you’ll do- Analyze introductory‑level financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to Senior Leadership for decision making purposes.
- Provide consultation to business owners on financial matters.
- Maintain and confirm accuracy of:
Monthly financial reporting, costing and decision support, forecasting and long‑range financial planning software. - Improve performance by evaluating and quantifying processes that drive cost‑saving efficiencies.
- Administer and produce business cases using financial tools such as NPV, ROI and sensitivity analysis.
- Provide financial analysis functions as directed by the Financial Analysis & Forecasting Supervisor or Financial Planning Supervisor.
- Develop and effectively utilize software applications such as Axiom, Clarity & Epic to support financial planning.
- Establish and manage project timelines for various financial planning projects.
- Develop and maintain positive communication and working relationships with executive leadership, department leads and staff.
- Some Financial Analyst or Accounting experience preferred.
