Description
Willamette Valley Bank is seeking a detail‑oriented individual with critical thinking and decision‑making skills for a Relationship Banker position. The right candidate will value integrity and trust whether building relationships in person or over the phone. You will play a critical role in assisting customers as they work towards meeting their financial goals and navigate their unique financial needs.
Responsibilities- Serve consumer and small business customers by opening new accounts
- Proactively reach out to current customers by phone, in order to deepen existing banking relationships and recommend additional products/services
- Completes documentation required to establish and maintain new accounts
- Processes routine financial transactions for customers quickly and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments and cashier's checks), in compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Works with partners and branch employees to deliver exceptional customer experience
- Perform account maintenance activities
- Partner with other business units in sales and service activities, as appropriate

- High School diploma or GED required
- 2 or more years of banking experience including business and personal account opening

- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy or service
- Strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong PC skills (MS Office)
