- Monitor available allotment to ensure sufficient expenditure authority is available each quarter
- Prepare draft quarterly allotment plans reviewed and approved by the Senior Budget Analyst.
- Assist in updating cost allocation spreadsheets.
- Prepare monthly budget status reports for small programs or divisions.
- Assist with preparing the agency’s budget documents.
- Monitor deadlines and send out inquiries for essential materials.
- Update organization charts, program narratives, and charts/graphs.
- Prepare and update bi-monthly personal services projections for review by Senior Budget Analyst.
- Update Workday position coding and generate personnel related reports as needed.
- Maintain position tracking spreadsheet and prepare financial reports as requested by management.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience that included the preparation, analysis, and administration of a budget or fiscal system.
- Five years of professional-level experience in accounting, fiscal auditing, management or program analysis.
- Experience must have included modeling, forecasting and analyzing fiscal information.
- Successful completion of the Department of Administrative Services Budget and Management Public Administrative Trainee Program.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting or a related degree may substitute for three years of the required experience.
- A graduate-level degree in any of the above areas may substitute for four of the five years.
