Commercial Loan Officer

Pioneer Trust Bank is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Commercial Loan Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating, authorizing, or recommending approval of commercial loans and credit lines. This role is essential in supporting business growth by facilitating access to capital for our clients and maintaining a high standard of financial prudence.

Given our clientele and business model, we are dependent on our staff working in-office. This is not a remote position.

This position, as with all positions at Pioneer Trust Bank, does not have sales goals or quotas.

Job Type: Full Time/Exempt Standard

Hours:

Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (occasional flexibility for project deadlines and events)
What You'll DoProvide exceptional care to colleagues, clients, and community.

Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their business needs and provide appropriate loan solutions.

Review and approve loans within established lending limits or refer them to higher authority for approval.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies during the loan review process.

Review comprehensive loan proposals and present them to the Loan Committee for approval.

Monitor existing loans and credit lines to ensure adherence to terms and proactively manage any risk factors.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of loan applications, approvals, and denials.

Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate the underwriting process.

Represent the Bank in local community as appropriate.

Review and process construction draws, payments, new loans, and renewals.

Answer loan related questions from clients.
