Job Description
As an Office Specialist 2 in Irrigon, Oregon, you will provide the primary administrative, operational, business, and clerical support for the Irrigon Fish Hatchery.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to the public
- Maintain agency/region standards regarding all policies and procedures adopted by ODFW for the hatchery
- Perform a full range of administrative activities
- Work independently and use independent judgment in making appropriate decisions concerning work methods
Minimum Qualifications:
- Option 1:
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents - Option 2:
An associate degree in any field - Option 3:
An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Procurement and fiscal administration experience (end‑to‑end purchasing, vendor coordination, authorization workflows, inventory, and transaction compliance)
- Data and records management experience (file systems, retention, audit trails, error checking, and data integrity)
- Experience with office software and systems required for daily operation (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Fleet Management System, Online Fiscal Report System)
- Experience with policy and compliance
- Organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
