* The Associate Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. You will establish metrics, provide data analyses, and work directly to support business intelligence. You will evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position. The Associate Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Associate Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting will report to the Director, Financial Analytics. You will ensure data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around the flow of data. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost effective resolutions for data anomalies. You will influence the department's strategy.

Specifically, this role will support:

- Development of the premium variance report

- Development of monthly revenue targets

- A:

E on monthly revenue targets

- Creation and expansion of explanatory drivers of change interfaces

- Collaboration with actuarial and corporate finance business partners

* + Bachelor's Degree

+ Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation

+ Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms

+ MS Office proficiency in MS Word and Excel

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Master's Degree

+ Fellow of Societies of Actuaries (FSA)

+ Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)

+

Experience with SQL Server Management Studio

+ Understanding of Medicare Advantage Individual

* This is a remote position.

* The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$106,900 - $147,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
