In this role, you will manage statewide public transportation funding programs, develop program guidance, oversee funding and solicitation processes, review plans for compliance and provide technical assistance and answer questions for transit providers and partners.

A day in the life:

Manage and administer the statewide transportation improvement fund (STIF) formula and discretionary programs.

Develop and implement statewide transportation improvement fund (STIF) policies, rules and guidance.

Review statewide transportation improvement fund (STIF) plans and projects for compliance.

Conduct policy and procedure analysis to share findings and recommendations for policy and procedure updates.

Serve as the statewide transportation improvement fund (STIF) subject matter expert.

Plan and participate on various internal and external committees.

Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and recommend updates to statewide transportation improvement fund (STIF) policies and programs.

Work is primarily performed remotely, with in-office work approximately once per quarter and additional in-person attendance as needed based on business needs.

Some travel is required. Work may include conflicting requirements and tight deadlines. Some overnights may be required.
