ACT is a multi-disciplinary treatment team that provides intensive, highly integrated, and community-based treatment services to individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.
Services are designed to be provided in the most integrated setting possible to maximize independence, community integration, and recovery.

- Mental Health Therapist 1: $29.54 - $39.58/hr.
- Mental Health Therapist 2: $35.83 - $48.00/hr.
Provide behavioral health services to individuals with serious and persistent mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorders who are enrolled in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT). Services are delivered according to ACT’s National Program Standards, fidelity standards, and OARs, including using a person-centered and recovery-oriented approach.
Therapy- Provide individual and group therapy to individuals using a variety of evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, SFBT, CAMS, CPI, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Work independently to provide crisis assessment and specific intervention services, including development of safety/crisis plans and suicide and self-harm risk assessments.
- Provide intake and annual comprehensive mental health assessments, including assessing mental health and/or behavioral symptoms using a variety of standard assessment tools, individual functional skills, determining treatment needs, developing individualized treatment plans, developing crisis prevention plans, and directing provision of treatment services.
- Determine individual service needs, eligibility, and appropriateness of services.
- Provide case management to include making referrals and coordinating with other agencies to obtain services and resources for individuals; and advocacy and brokerage on behalf of client to access community resources, benefits, and entitlements.
- Provide individual case specific consultation to other providers and community partners, which may include recommendations for risk reduction.
- Work on development of individuals’ natural supports.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with federal, state, county, and treatment program requirements under the direction of the clinical supervisor.
- Meet performance expectations for time and billing standards.
- Participate fully as a member of the Marion County Assertive Community Treatment team as a supportive, reliable, positive, collaborative, and professional team member during the development of individual treatment planning, daily clinical team meetings, and client crisis intervention.
- Follow ACT’s National Standards, fidelity scale, and OARs.
- Participate in after-hours on call rotation to provide coverage to support to individuals in crisis and provide consultation and coordination with other agencies and providers. Hours of work may include weekends.
- Work with a team of clinicians and supervisor for clinical supervision, treatment planning, staff and departmental meetings, and trainings.
- May provide mental health and/or substance use disorders education and training to other staff.
- May represent the agency on internal or external committees as requested by the supervisor.
