Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a  locum Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP)  to provide coverage for a facility in far eastern Oregon starting as soon as credentialed. The NP will provide care in a  Level II NICU  setting, including admissions, rounding, and attending high-risk deliveries. This position is ideal for experienced neonatal providers with flexible availability who can work in  4 5 day stints  and cover 24-hour call shifts.

Schedule:

24-hour call with rounding; flexibility preferred

Credentialing Timeframe:  90 days

EMR:  EPIC

Job Details / Responsibilities      Setting:  Level II NICU

Key Duties:

Admits for Level II NICU

Rounding and discharges

Attend and manage high-risk deliveries

Perform intubations and place UVC lines

Call Structure:  24-hour call with 6 hours included for rounding

Supervision:  Independent practice expected within scope of NICU care

Documentation:  EPIC EMR

Required

Skills and Qualifications      Certification:
NCC (Neonatal Certification)  Required

Board Certified NP  Required

Licensure:  Active  Oregon license   Required

Experience:

Prior NICU/Level II neonatal care experience required

Credentialing Documentation Needed:
MD diploma, training certificates, licenses, DEA

Life support (BLS), immunization records, CMEs, references, case logs

Certificates of insurance, headshot, driver s license
