Job Summary:

Snap Care is thrilled to partner with a client known for their people-first leadership and exceptional workplace culture to bring you an incredible Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) opportunity. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapeutic services to patients, assisting in the implementation of treatment plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical function.

This position requires a valid Oregon PTA license and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy interventions as outlined in the treatment plan developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities.
Assist patients in performing prescribed exercises and activities to restore function, prevent disability, and achieve rehabilitation goals.
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist for timely adjustments to care plans.
Educate patients and their families on exercises, safety techniques, and home care instructions within the scope of practice.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment, ensuring compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
Collaborate effectively with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to all federal, state, and Oregon Board of Physical Therapy regulations and standards of practice.

Qualifications:

Licensed in Oregon or a graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
Experience in post-acute care or similar healthcare environment preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial wellbeing.
