Physical Therapist – Oregon State Hospital, Junction City Campus (6‑month temporary assignment)
We are seeking an Oregon‑licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient‑centered, recovery‑focused physical rehabilitation services for patients admitted to the Oregon State Hospital, Junction City campus. The role involves delivering evidence‑based clinical interventions, assessing patients, and collaborating with other health professionals to support integrated care.
Responsibilities- Provide person‑centered, recovery‑focused physical rehabilitation services to patients.
- Conduct standardized assessments and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage caseload independently, prioritizing workload and adapting to changing clinical needs.
- License from the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board, or
- Completion of an accredited PT program with eligibility to obtain an Oregon PT license or temporary permit at time of appointment, with at least a temporary permit required.
- Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license or other valid authorization issued by the Physical Therapy Licensing Board.
- Experience working in a healthcare facility with patients who have mental health challenges.
- Demonstrated creativity and skill in developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans based on patients’ physical conditions, medical histories, and safety considerations.
- Ability to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Strong collaboration skills with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
- Capacity to work independently and prioritize workload while adapting treatment approaches to changing patient needs and clinical conditions.
