What you ll do
- Decontaminate and prepare items following departmental standards and equipment guidelines.
- Prepare items for sterilization using correct procedures, indicators, and labels.
- Operate and maintains sterilizers, ensuring proper function and reporting maintenance issues.
- Assemble and prepare case carts efficiently and independently.
- Handle and organize surgical trays, instruments, and drillsfor proper assembly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, identifying and addressing safety hazards.
Required qualifications
- Must hold either a current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification OR a current Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) certification.
