Patient Intake Specialist

Thank you for considering Salem Radiology Consultants (SRC)! Since 1973, we have provided premier outpatient imaging services to residents in Salem and those throughout the greater Willamette Valley. Apart from our advanced imaging services, our primary focus is patient care and our staff. Without one of those, we would not be able to continue contributing to our community. At SRC we are a team, and would love to find the right candidate who has a team mentality as well.

• Greets visitors, ascertains purpose of visit, and directs them to appropriate staff.
• Closely watch appointment schedule and times of patient exams.
• Provide calm demeanor when working with patients at the front desk.
• Obtain patient demographic and insurance information, and accurately enter into the information system.
• Communicate with other departments and schedule appointments as necessary.
• Answers telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Process and organize incoming orders and medical information.
• Collect patient payments when necessary.

• Organization

• Two years' experience working in the medical field (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
