Position Overview: Direct Care Staff is responsible for assisting the Case Manager in providing individual and group counseling, skills training, therapeutic interventions, and monitoring and managing the Agency youth's behavior to provide a safe, structured living environment conducive to treatment.

Expectations:

• Foster a culturally inclusive environment where youth feel supported
• Ensure safety for the youth served
• Assist with seeking and engaging services
• Model effective self-help strategies
• Assist with community resources (housing, transportation, education, employment)
• Moderate life skills and support groups
• Help with life skills (laundry, cooking, cleaning, yard work)
• Support professional skills development (resumé, job seeking, applications)
• Provide transportation to work, doctor appointments, activities

Documentation & Training:

• Attend training sessions organized by Team Bailey Inc
• Must demonstrate compassion and professionalism
• Maintain composure during high-stress situations

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist youth with daily activities such as personal hygiene, clothing choices, diet, etc.
• Contribute to activities of daily living: cooking, cleaning, shopping, medication management
