Physical Therapist – Job Description

Physical Therapists work in
outpatient rehabilitation settings
, focusing on musculoskeletal (MSK) care, sports medicine, and occupational health. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans, perform physical assessments, and provide direct patient care.

• Direct Patient Care:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, sports, and occupational injuries.
• Treatment Implementation:Apply evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities.
• Collaboration:Work with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other specialists to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Assessments:Conduct physical therapy evaluations to determine patient needs and progress.
• Documentation:Use ATI’s proprietary EMR and patient management tools to streamline workflows and reduce documentation time.
• Education & Training:Participate in structured mentorship, residency programs, and leadership training.

• Licensure:Current state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience:Mid-level outpatient experience preferred; sports and orthopedic residencies or fellowships are valued.
• Skills:Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Certifications:Relevant certifications (e.g., sports medicine, orthopedics) are a plus.
