Job Description

Senior Human Resource Business Partner opportunities available on our collaborative Oregon State Hospital (OSH) Employee and Labor Relations Team! You’ll enjoy a flexible hybrid work schedule with 3 days working in our Salem office at the Oregon State Hospital, and 2 days remotely.

If you're looking for meaningful work, professional growth, and the opportunity to make a difference, we encourage you to apply. You don't need to know everything—we're looking for curiosity, sound judgment, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to grow.

Are you a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment? Do you enjoy tackling complex employee and labor relations issues, partnering with leaders to solve difficult workplace challenges, and balancing competing priorities with professionalism and sound judgment?

At the Oregon State Hospital (OSH), no two days are the same. Our Senior Human Resource Business Partners serve as trusted advisors to leadership, helping navigate sensitive and complex employee matters, labor relations issues, workplace investigations, organizational change, and critical workforce challenges. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, resilient, solutions-focused, and able to remain calm and effective when faced with competing demands and time-sensitive situations.

At OSH, you'll join a collaborative HR team that values professionalism, partnership, accountability, and growth. In return, you'll be trusted, challenged, and relied upon. What makes our team special? We help each other, questions are welcomed, nobody is expected to know everything, team members share expertise, new ideas, are encouraged and we can disagree respectfully with each other.

The Oregon State Hospital provides patient-centered, psychiatric treatment for adults from throughout the state who need hospital-level care. Our primary goal is to help people recover from their illness and return to the community. Our services include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as community outreach and peer support. Watch “Welcome to the Oregon State Hospital” video here.
