Title: Senior Endpoint Modernization Engineer

Location: Salem, OR (97312) / Hybrid

Employment Type: 10+ Month W2 Contract (no C2C or sponsorship available)

Job Description Talent Groups is seeking a Senior Endpoint Modernization Engineer to lead a large scale transition from hybrid joined Windows devices to a fully cloud native Microsoft Entra  Intune managed environment. This role is highly hands on and execution focused, while also serving as a technical advisor and mentor to internal IT teams.

The ideal consultant has successfully led Intune and Windows Autopilot migrations in enterprise environments and understands best practices and common challenges in modern endpoint management.

• Lead and execute the migration from hybrid Azure AD joined devices to Microsoft Entra d devices
• Design and implement Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot provisioning for new and existing endpoints
• Package, test, and deploy applications using Intune Win
  32 application deployment
• Migrate SCCM managed workloads to Intune, including co management where applicable
• Convert Group Policy Objects to Intune configuration profiles and compliance policies
• Provide hands on execution with approximately 75 percent delivery and 25 percent advisory responsibilities
• Mentor and upskill internal IT engineers on modern endpoint management practices
• Create clear documentation, standards, and operational runbooks
• Identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities throughout the migration

• Proven experience leading enterprise endpoint modernization initiatives
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft Entra
• Strong hands on experience with Win
  32 application packaging and deployment, SCCM Configuration Manager, and co management strategies
• Experience migrating Group Policy to Intune
• Demonstrated ability to train and transfer knowledge to internal IT teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Experience with PSADT Power Shell App Deployment Toolkit
• Experience working in regulated or large scale enterprise IT environments
