Rate: $45-49/hr
Our client is seeking a Technical Writer to create clear, accurate documentation for software, systems, and IT processes. This role translates complex technical information into user-friendly materials and maintains documentation within structured, version-controlled repositories.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specs, diagrams, process guides, and knowledge base content.
- Create technical diagrams and architecture models using Archi (Archi Mate).
- Review and update technical requirements and system documentation.
- Work closely with engineering, IT, and legal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Organize and manage documentation using Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Experience as a Technical Writer in IT or software development.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Archi preferred and diagramming standards.
- Ability to read/understand technical specifications; ability to read code is a plus.
- Prior legal or compliance documentation experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and version-control practices within SharePoint/365.
