Overview
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission-critical applications for top tier enterprises around the world. Our cloud offers hyperscale, multi-tenant services deployed in more than 50 regions worldwide. OCI is expanding its mission beyond traditional public cloud boundaries to include dedicated, hybrid and multi-cloud, edge computing, and more.
The Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization is reimagining the future of cloud. Our mission is to support our existing business as it scales to meet evolving customer needs. We gather feedback from existing customers to build new services at every level of the stack, with initiatives to create innovative platforms, high performance primitives, frameworks to support OCI developers, and new environments that will transform OCI services, including our most demanding, high-availability services.
Our scope spans compute, storage, networking, data services, operations, and more. We aim to enhance engineering efficiency by focusing our expertise on building high-performance, low-level systems that can be adopted by cloud services across OCI. We are creating and operating OCI-wide programs to improve organizational engineering standards, governing processes, architectural review boards, change management, intercoms, PSAs, and recruiting tools.
In this Principal Technical Product Management role, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for OCI’s next-generation cloud platform. You will manage the product lifecycle from design to release, define new products and features, analyze customer requirements, perform market and competitive research, and own the product roadmap. You will develop concepts, synthesize business requirements from internal and external partners, write product specifications, plan launches, enable SKUs, define pricing, and engage with customers.
You will lead and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams and assess trade-offs to optimize customer experience and time-to-market. You will clearly communicate goals, define business models, and represent your product portfolio internally and externally. You will be the expert on your product functionality and will provide strong inputs to the engineering team on architecture and design and non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, resiliency, and supportability.
This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new cloud services from the ground up. Our team combines start-up agility with the scale and resources of Oracle, one of the world’s leading cloud companies. You will be part of a smart, motivated, diverse team and will receive autonomy and support to do your best work in a dynamic and flexible workplace.
