Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role you will be the technical linchpin in the sales process, working closely with customers to understand their unique needs, demonstrate the power of the Agentic Enterprise Platform, and design innovative solutions that drive digital transformation and AI/ML journeys.

What You’ll Do
  • Co‑lead discovery & solution design sessions with sales representatives to understand customer business challenges, technical environments, and strategic objectives.
  • Architect compelling, end‑to‑end solutions leveraging Siemens Technologies—including application development, knowledge graph, data analytics, and AI/ML capabilities.
  • Deliver engaging technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops tailored to customer requirements.
  • Lead and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) that showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, sales teams, and partners, articulating technical features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key technical champions and executive sponsors, guiding them through digital transformation and AI journeys.
  • Provide expert technical input for proposals, RFPs, and RFIs, ensuring solutions are technically sound and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Acquire and share industry expertise, staying informed about products, competitors, and market trends within BFSI+ sectors.
  • Collaborate with peers, professional services, and sales teams to provide market feedback, contribute to product enhancements, and ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Represent Siemens at industry events, webinars, and conferences, sharing insights and best practices related to low‑code, data analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation in BFSI+.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven presales experience: 5+ years in a technical pre‑sales, solutions architecture, or solutions engineering role, specifically in data preparation/mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or big data analytics. Agentic AI experience is a plus.
  • BFSI+ industry acumen:
    Strong understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance processes, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation drivers. Experience in related verticals such as Fin Tech or Capital Markets is a plus.
  • Experience with modern data/AI/analytics platforms:
    Alteryx, Data Robot, Dataiku, Tiger Graph, Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, etc.
  • Technical proficiency:
    • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies.
    • Familiarity with integration patterns and technologies (APIs, REST, SOAP, message queues).
    • Knowledge of data fabric and AI fabric concepts.
    • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Experience with data mining, manipulation, analytics, and machine learning.
    • Familiarity with graph technologies.
  • Problem‑solving & analytical skills:
    Exceptional ability to analyze complex business problems and design scalable, innovative technical solutions.
  • Communication & presentation skills:
    Outstanding verbal and written communication, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences, and proven track record of delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations.
  • Customer‑centric approach:
