Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Change Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of small to medium IT projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, and governance documentation
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Manage issue logs and formal change control processes
• Escalate significant issues to project sponsors or governance leadership
• Coordinate implementation, deployment, and go-live activities across application, infrastructure, security, and business teams
• Coordinate system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Maintain project documentation and support PMO governance
• Prepare portfolio and executive status reports
• Apply established project management standards
• Lead stakeholder communication and develop communication plans
• Prepare status reports and briefings
• Ensure project work aligns with agency, security, and accessibility standards
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business partners to keep projects on scope, schedule, and budget

• Three years of progressively responsible paraprofessional or technical experience related to the series concept; OR
• An Oregon Project Management Associate Certification AND two years of progressively responsible experience related to the series; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field; OR
• A Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute
• Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate IT project activities
• Skill in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Skill in facilitation, meeting management, and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with information technology concepts, system development, and software implementation processes
• Ability to track multiple assignments, manage competing deadlines, and follow structured workflows
• Must be able to report to the listed office location as necessary for hybrid work
• Access to a broadband internet connection meeting minimum acceptable requirements for approved remote work
• Private workspace for approved remote work
• Must maintain good standing with no performance or attendance issues
• No visa sponsorship; must be authorized to work in the United States and complete Form I-9
• Successful completion of required criminal record, driving record, vulnerable population abuse and neglect, and other applicable pre-employment checks
• Must serve as a mandatory reporter of child abuse
