Manages and coordinates all technical and mechanical work for a very large property, or multiple properties, to ensure the interior and exterior of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality as well as meeting budgeted financial and operational goals.

Village East is a 112 unit affordable housing community in the Four Corners neighborhood of SE Salem. We are conveniently located off Lancaster and State Street with great food carts, shopping and freeway access nearby. Village East offers 2 and 3 bedroom homes in two story buildings. The community is set on a large property with ample parking, maintenance storage and walking paths.

• Being part of a team and having fun while providing excellent customer service
• Managing outside vendors and following up on warranties by email and phone
• Develop standards for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property
• Knowledge of hot water repair and maintenance highly desired
• Basic carpentry knowledge required
• Supervising up to 5 employees
• Assist with developing the budget for regular repair and maintenance and capital expense
• Delegate and complete resident work orders in a timely manner

• Vast maintenance management experience in multifamily housing
• Knowledge of Hot Water Heater repair and maintenance, carpentry required.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and property management software (Yardi/One Site)
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
• Proficient in MS Office Suite required, property management software (Yardi/One Site) highly desired

The hourly range for this role is $26.00 - $30.00

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
