Job DescriptionHelp the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission:
To protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.
We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located in Corvallis, Oregon.
What You Will Do- Assist with all aspects of Program personnel actions needed for hiring all staff.
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of administrative budgets.
- Assist contract managers within the program with preparation and submittal of budgets, tracking budget balances and spending, reconciling problems, and submitting journal vouchers to accounting as needed.
- Prepare and submit invoices for payment of contracts with Oregon State University for hatchery science and genetic services.
- Manage facilities leases and contracts.

Minimum QualificationsTo be considered for this position, all applicants must the following:
- One year of experience as a supervisor of clerical, secretarial, or office support staff that includes hiring or recommending hiring, training, assigning and reviewing work, preparing performance evaluations, and handling disciplinary actions.
- Experience using Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Experience reviewing and tracking documents for authenticity and accuracy
- Experience working in a fast-paced office
- Experience leading or coordinating office procedures
