Job Title: Property Manager
Salary: $25 to $27 per hour. A 20% housing discount is available.

The property manager is responsible for the overall operations of the property, ensuring efficient operations, overseeing supplier contracts, maintenance, lease administration, and monthly reporting. This role also creates a positive experience for residents, associates, and clients.
Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the property, including resident satisfaction and retention, full resident lifecycle activities (lease administration, rent collection and delinquency management), property P&L, and property marketing.
- Meet client expectations and provide an excellent customer service experience.
- Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire personnel.
- Create a climate in which associates seek to excel by leading and communicating a shared vision and providing coaching and development.
- Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
- Understand the operations guidelines established within the property management agreement.
- Respond to resident complaints and issues, serving as liaison to residents and the corporate office regarding common‑area maintenance and enforcement of landlord rules and regulations.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and establishing networks.
- Organize and implement site natural‑disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
- Manage property and associate safety records, property loss claims, and risk‑management initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two to three years of property management experience required.
- One to two years of direct management experience required.
- Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
- Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
- Knowledge of preferred.
- Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or comparable system preferred.
- Very strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively and sensitively communicate with all levels of management.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to relay technical concerns clearly and accurately.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
- Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, key‑track system).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
- Ability to defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
