Provide operational leadership for the ODHS Data Office by managing delivery of enterprise analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and data services. Supervise multiple teams, establish operational priorities and service standards, oversee workload planning, and ensure accurate, efficient delivery aligned with agency governance and strategic priorities. Work closely with Data Office leadership, IT partners, program leadership, and business partners to translate enterprise data governance into operational practice, foster collaboration across programs, improve business processes, and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, equity, and customer service.
Directly support agency mission by ensuring trusted data informs policy, programs, and decisions that improve lives of Oregonians.
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; or three years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Operational Leadership Experience in complex operational programs, establishing priorities, improving processes, managing service delivery, and using performance measures.
- Supervision – experienced people leader who develops high‑performing teams through coaching, performance management, workload planning, employee development, accountability, and an inclusive workplace.
- Collaboration – build strong partnerships across business units and technical teams; communicate effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Equity & Service Focus – demonstrate commitment to equity, cultural humility, customer‑centered service; foster inclusive workplaces and equitable decision‑making.
Selected finalists will undergo a criminal history and background check. Adverse findings may lead to disqualification. The Oregon Department of Human Services will use E‑Verify to confirm authorization to work in the United States.
