Are you passionate about food quality and science? Oregon Fruit Company is looking for a detail-oriented QA Technician to join our team and help ensure every product we ship meets the highest standards of safety, flavor, and consistency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Test finished products for brix, pH, viscosity, titratable acidity, turbidity, color, and flavor
- Inspect incoming raw materials, fresh fruit receipts, and product returns
- Approve and release Raw Material Receiving Inspection packets in our ERP system
- Write Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and maintain QA/QC documentation
- Conduct water, environmental, and glass/brittle plastic audits
- Manage sensory cutting sessions — setup, evaluation, and cleanup
- Perform shelf life evaluations and schedule testing
Support QC Technicians on the production floor as needed - Assist in developing and revising specifications and procedures
This role gets exciting June through September during our fresh fruit harvest season — availability to work 7 days/week during that period is required. It's busy, rewarding, and a core part of what makes this role unique.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field — OR 6 months to 1 year of hands‑on QA experience
- Food manufacturing background is a plus
- Strong computer skills: email, data entry, ERP systems, document management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Analytical mindset — you can identify problems, gather data, and draw sound conclusions
- A team player who communicates clearly and shows up reliably
