ABOUT US

Oregon Fruit Company is a values-driven food manufacturer committed to quality from field to finished product. We're proud of what we make — and we want you to be too.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, fresh fruit receipts, and product returns
  • Approve and release Raw Material Receiving Inspection packets in our ERP system
  • Write Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and maintain QA/QC documentation
  • Conduct water, environmental, and glass/brittle plastic audits
  • Manage sensory cutting sessions — setup, evaluation, and cleanup
  • Perform shelf life evaluations and schedule testing

Support QC Technicians on the production floor as needed
  • Assist in developing and revising specifications and procedures
HARVEST SEASON HEADS UP

This role gets exciting June through September during our fresh fruit harvest season — availability to work 7 days/week during that period is required. It's busy, rewarding, and a core part of what makes this role unique.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field — OR 6 months to 1 year of hands‑on QA experience
  • Food manufacturing background is a plus
  • Strong computer skills: email, data entry, ERP systems, document management
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Analytical mindset — you can identify problems, gather data, and draw sound conclusions
  • A team player who communicates clearly and shows up reliably
