Job Title:

Electro-Mechanical Robotics Assembler

This contract role focuses on the assembly, inspection, testing, repair, and refurbishment of robotic parts and machines. You will work hands‑on with electro‑mechanical assemblies, following detailed work instructions, drawings, schematics, and checklists to ensure high-quality robotic systems. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a cutting‑edge robotics manufacturing environment while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, test, inspect, and repair robot electro‑mechanical assemblies by following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and checklists.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic assembly tasks, including machine building and sub‑assembly work.
  • Interpret and use blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to complete assembly and repair activities accurately.
  • Carry out inspection and testing of robotic parts and machines to verify functionality and quality standards.
  • Refurbish and repair robotic components and systems as required to restore them to proper working condition.
  • Prioritize safety, quality, and teamwork in all daily activities, promptly reporting any issues or nonconformances.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area in accordance with workplace standards and procedures.
  • Accurately record manufacturing and production data using MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Assist in training and mentoring other team members on assembly processes and best practices.
  • Support other departments with in‑process inspections, material handling, and related tasks as needed.
  • Perform warehouse and inventory duties related to pre‑count inventory and material management.
Essential Skills
  • Hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly of complex equipment or machinery.
  • Ability to assemble, test, inspect, and repair electro‑mechanical assemblies using work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, including the use of common hand tools and measurement devices such as micrometers.
  • Experience with electrical and electronic assembly, including wiring, component installation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to perform machine building and machine assembly tasks with attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Capability to accurately record and track manufacturing data using MES or similar production software.
  • Organizational skills to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
  • Ability to support warehouse and inventory activities, including pre‑count inventory tasks.

  • Familiarity with robotic systems, robotic components, or automation equipment.
  • Experience working in a robotics, automation, or advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Comfort providing process improvement suggestions to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Willingness and ability to assist in training colleagues on assembly procedures and standards.
  • Flexibility to support other departments with in‑process inspections and material handling as needed.
  • Interest in long‑term opportunities, with potential for contract extension or direct hire based on performance and business needs.
Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $22.00 – $24.00 /hr.
