Production Associate – Pallet Saw Shop

• Set up and operate power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation
• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate effectively with plant management on a regular basis
• Work overtime as needed
• Perform physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting and standing for entire shifts

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including eye protection, ear protection at several locations, and safety shoes
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision

Demonstrates proficiency in operating power saws for wood pallet creation while adhering to safety regulations. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods in various environmental conditions.
