Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Progressive Care, Full‑Time 72 hours per pay period (2‑week cycle), day and night rotations.
Location:
UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO. Pay range: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, based on experience. This is an onsite position with no hybrid or remote option.
- Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a technically complex environment.
- Use the nursing process to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality at the point of care.
- Preceptor and mentor new staff and students, supporting their professional development.
- Apply AACN Synergy Model and specialty certification standards in clinical practice.
- Engage in the Progressive Care Fellowship or four‑phase orientation when required.
- Graduate of an accredited or state‑board–approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- Active State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum 6 months RN experience; less than 3 years experience may be considered if qualified.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with card valid through the first 60 days of hire.
- Additional life‑support certification as required by the position level.
- Valid BLS card or CPR professional rescuer credential with card in hand prior to start date.
