About the Organization

The Sweet Bye N Bye is owned and operated by Robert and Angela Estrada RN, BSN. Their goal is to provide excellent care in an intimate setting where residents feel like part of a family. They have a combined 45 years of RN experience and over 20 years of combined experience owning/operating adult foster homes and residential care facilities. Angela holds the Registered Nurse-Board Certified in Gerontology credential.

Summary

Assist the Administrator in overseeing the operations of the residential care facility (RCF) and memory care living residences. Coordinate staff training, scheduling, payroll, employee orientation, and care coordination. Communicate with external agencies and participate in quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as resource and liaison between facility staff and outside agencies.
  • Manage new employee orientation, preceptor assignments, and mandatory education.
  • Audit staff performance and skills evaluation.
  • Coordinate employee enrollment in CRIMS and company benefits.
  • Assist with payroll calculation, labor hours management, and provide weekly payroll reports.
  • Oversee home health, hospice, and ancillary care providers; ensure visit documentation.
  • Operate phone systems, nurse call system, printer and fax lines.
  • Perform MAR audits and monitor medication room cleanliness.
  • Communicate with physician offices, pharmacies, and agencies as needed.
  • Update caregiver talk lists and service plan changes.
  • Participate in quarterly service plan care conferences.
  • Purchase supplies and durable medical equipment as directed.
  • Provide input into performance evaluation of employees.
  • Participate in QA data collection and provide supervisory direction for QA projects.
  • Manage employee schedules and time‑off requests.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of supervisory or care experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of state RCF/Memory Care regulations and facility rules.
  • Experience working in a community‑based or long‑term care setting.
  • CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers certifications and current driver’s license.
  • Ability to calculate figures and percentages.
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
Physical & Work Environment

Work requires frequent talking or hearing, occasional standing, walking, sitting, using hands, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The environment is usually quiet.
