Position: REGISTERED NURSE

Human Good community seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse / Charge Nurse to deliver and oversee high-quality care for older adults in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this mission-driven, resident-focused role, you'll coordinate clinical care, lead nursing staff on shift, and ensure safe, person-centered services for seniors. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, documentation, and regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while mentoring caregivers in a supportive, values-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate direct nursing care for senior residents in accordance with care plans and clinical standards.
  • Serve as Charge Nurse on assigned shifts, overseeing nursing staff workflow, assignments, and clinical priorities.
  • Assess, monitor, and document resident condition, communicating changes to physicians, families, and the care team.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following regulatory and community policies.
  • Lead and participate in care conferences, ensuring resident-centered care and service excellence.
  • Coach, mentor, and support nursing and caregiving staff, fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations, policies, and documentation standards.
  • Promote infection prevention, safety, and quality improvement initiatives throughout the community.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapy, social services, and hospitality to support resident well-being.
  • Engage residents and families with compassion, respect, and clear communication to enhance satisfaction and trust.
