Med Tech

Human Good community seeks a part-time Med Tech to support residents in our assisted living setting. In this role, you will safely prepare and administer medications, accurately document doses in EMR systems, and closely monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition. You'll provide light caregiving support, communicate with nurses and families, and follow care plans and safety protocols. Working in a mission-driven, resident-focused team, you'll help older adults live with dignity and purpose while developing skills for a long-term career in senior living and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Accurately document medication administration in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Observe residents for side effects, changes in condition, and report concerns to nursing staff
• Assist residents with basic caregiving needs and activities of daily living as assigned
• Follow infection control, safety, and fall-prevention protocols in all care activities
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals in a respectful, timely manner
• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
