RN, Nicu; On Call

The RN in the NICU provides specialized nursing care for newborns, utilizing clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about neonatal care and thrive in a dynamic environment.

• Pay: $53 - $79/hour

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs.
• Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
• Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
• Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
• Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and document in the EMR.
• Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patient responses to treatment.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
