Description
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Operation and Sales Support person to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, staying organized, and supporting a fast-paced sales environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for walk-in customers and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist walk‑in customers at the sales counter and in our showroom.
Process and close out customer will‑call purchases accurately.
Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries to appropriate sales staff.
Provide basic product information and support to customers as needed.
Maintain organized and accurate records of orders and transactions.
Assist with administrative tasks including email correspondence (Outlook) and data entry.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Support general office and front counter operations.
SkillsCustomer service, counter sales, front desk, sales support, data entry, Microsoft office, administrative support, inventory, sales, clerical, order entry, cycle counts, filing.
AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
Previous customer service or counter sales experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Outlook and general office software.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
Comfortable working with contractors and construction‑related customers.
Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
Experience LevelIntermediate Level.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
