Service Porter

Dealership: L0240 BMW of Salem BMW of Salem Service Porter Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 PM.

BMW of Salem is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Service Porter to join our growing team. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role that plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional experience for every customer who visits our service department.

• Warmly greet and assist customers as they arrive in the service drive.
• Provide a professional and welcoming first impression.
• Relocate vehicles safely between service lanes, shop, and parking areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas (housekeeping duties).
• Wash and vacuum vehicles after service to ensure a high-quality delivery experience.
• Support technicians and service advisors with general lot and operational needs.
• Assist in keeping inventory and parking areas organized and presentable.

• Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (manual is a strong advantage).
• Prior dealership experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Team-oriented with great attention to detail.

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
