Front Desk Guest Experience Sales Associate

Position

This position requires a candidate who is positive, friendly and dependable. The position is a combination of selling memberships, studio tasks and member connection. The ideal candidate will provide a premium client service environment focused around positivity, health and wellness.

Hourly rate: $17 per hour

10% commission on memberships and retail product sold

Hours weekly varies based on business needs up to 30 hours (part‑time position)

• Contact prospective members to explain benefits of a regular Pilates routine and costs of membership.
• Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting an individual's needs and wants.
• Achieve or surpass monthly membership and retail sales goals.
• Clean retail area, studio, and restrooms.
• Greet clients as they enter with 1‑on‑1 personal interaction.
• Answer the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
• Sell memberships over the phone, online, or in person. Execute sales process of lead generation, follow‑up, and close.
• Assist members with downloading and using the Club Pilates app.
• Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible.
• Process accurate sales transactions via Point of Sale software.
• Check in new retail inventory and place on sales floor in partnership with management.
• Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote Club Pilates.
• Calmly address clients’ concerns while maintaining the rules and procedures of the studio.
• Be responsible for opening or closing the studio depending on your shift.

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Goal‑oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours throughout the workday.
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in‑person, phone/text, and email.
• Must be able to work both independently and within a team.
• Must be able to occasionally participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club.
• Previous retail, sales or fitness experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Authorization to work in the United States required.
• Must be able to pass a Background Check process.
