As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll be continuously moving and collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. You’ll ensure a quick and easy customer experience and keep the store clean and clutter free. Flexibility is key, as you may occasionally work in different areas of the store to maintain the cleanliness of the floor and stockrooms and help customers find great deals.

• Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready, and is sized and filled in through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day (Sales and Customer Service)
• Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in-store, online and mobile), operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items of all size, handling bulky sometimes heavy items including boxes, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience (Sales and Customer Service)
• Create a smooth fitting room experience when supporting as a fitting room attendant by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor (Sales and Customer Service)
• Create a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor (Sales and Customer Service)
• Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed (Sales and Customer Service)
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment (Sales and Customer Service)
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards (Sales and Customer Service)
• Promote initiatives like our Nordstrom Rewards program (Sales and Customer Service)
• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments (Stock & Fulfillment)
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards (Stock & Fulfillment)
• Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards (Stock & Fulfillment)
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes (Stock & Fulfillment)
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms (Stock & Fulfillment)
• Provide general support to the store, e.g. set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns and relocate store fixtures (Stock & Fulfillment)

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
• Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling bulky sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Stock and Fulfillment only: frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds

• Pay range: $16.70-$17.40 per hour, dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience
