Role OverviewThe Retail Sales Representative role is a career‑launching opportunity to gain hands‑on sales experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. This active role requires engaging with potential clients, listening to their challenges, and connecting them with Roth Home services that provide real solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Sales and Service teams to ensure customers receive the best experience possible.
Responsibilities- Engage customers in retail locations, educate them about Roth Home solutions, and identify opportunities to address their home improvement needs.
- Capture accurate lead information and convert interest into booked appointments.
- Represent Roth Home with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity in every customer interaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize lead quality and drive conversions.
- Take ownership of your location’s performance, proactively identifying ways to improve results and exceed goals.
- Excels at solving problems and making thoughtful decisions.
- Manages time effectively and stays organized.
- Brings energy and a positive attitude to every situation.
- Communicates professionally and presents themselves with confidence.
- Is focused on achieving goals and driving results.
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with the use of a tablet and smartphone for capturing customer information and managing appointments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Preferred: 2+ years of customer‑facing service experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of sales experience.
Full‑time and part‑time options are available. Retail Sales Representatives will need to be available throughout the week according to the retail store’s hours. Schedule will be discussed with the supervisor.
Work Environment & TravelThis job involves primarily working on site. Some travel to professional meetings and training is also required. Travel to additional stores in the area may be required. Employees must have reliable transportation.
Physical RequirementsThe role requires being on your feet for extended periods of time, moving throughout the store, greeting customers, answering questions, and engaging in active conversations. Employees must be comfortable with regular standing, walking, and interacting with customers in a fast‑paced retail environment.
