Full Line Associate Sales Representative (Salem, OR)
Smith+ Nephew seeks an Associate Sales Representative for its Orthopaedics‑Reconstruction team. The role is a key member of the orthopaedic sales force, providing technical support and logistical coordination for operative cases within assigned territory and hospital accounts.
Responsibilities- Work with the orthopaedics sales team to schedule and secure operative cases with hospital surgical teams.
- Observe procedures and provide instrument and implant expertise to surgical staff.
- Complete logistical requirements for operative cases, ensuring timely supply and availability of products.
- Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, key opinion leaders, hospital staff, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and execute territory business plans to generate revenue and exceed quota.
- Attend training, assessments, and continuing education to become a technical expert in the orthopaedic portfolio.
- Support the sales force during non‑traditional hours and adapt to change as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of professional sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license for travel within the assigned sales territory.
Travel within the designated sales territory with 2‑4 overnight stays per month; occasional national travel for events and conferences.
All field sales professionals who must gain entry into healthcare facilities must complete the credentialing process and comply with facility requirements, including vaccine protocols when applicable.
