We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team, focusing on conveyor equipment and gear boxes. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and repair broken down equipment. Experience with MIG welding, used in fabrication and maintenance, is essential.

• Work on conveyor equipment and gear boxes.
• Diagnose and repair broken down equipment.
• Perform MIG welding for fabrication and maintenance.
• Weld and fabricate equipment as needed.
• Repair structural members or parts using various welding techniques.
• Fabricate parts based on job scope or projects.
• Operate vehicles and equipment, such as forklifts.
• Gather and analyze information to solve problems.
• Inspect equipment and materials for defects.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with MIG welding and maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with conveyor maintenance.
• Prefer experience working on gear boxes.
• Electrical knowledge (12/24V) is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read mechanical prints is preferred.

The role requires physical attendance at the worksite, which includes a large, uncovered yard. Candidates must be comfortable working in the elements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00/hr.
