MIG WELDER​/FABRICATOR

Join our team as a Welder, where you'll work on conveyor equipment and gear boxes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and repair broken down equipment. Expertise in MIG welding for fabrication and maintenance is essential. You must be comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.

• Weld and fabricate equipment as needed.
• Repair structural members or parts using various welding techniques.
• Fabricate parts based on job scope or projects.
• Operate vehicles and equipment, such as forklifts.
• Gather and analyze information to solve problems.
• Inspect equipment and materials for defects.

• MIG welding experience
• Conveyor maintenance
• Fabrication skills
• Ability to work outdoors

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Experience working on conveyor belts and troubleshooting issues
• Experience with gear boxes preferred
• Electrical knowledge (12/24V) preferred but not required
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read mechanical prints
• High school diploma or equivalent

This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with a family-owned company, providing stability and a supportive work environment.

The work environment includes working outdoors in a large, uncovered yard. You must be comfortable working in the elements, operating machinery, and maintaining physical attendance at the worksite.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Salem, OR.
