Who We Are

We are partnering with a well-established Design/Build Construction Firm with over 40 years of success delivering high-quality residential projects. Recently transitioning leadership to the next generation, the company blends deep-rooted craftsmanship with a modern, collaborative culture.

This is a tight-knit, values-driven team that takes pride in doing things the right way—without cutting corners. They’re looking for someone who shares that mindset and is excited to show up every day and build something meaningful.

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on leadership role for a Lead Carpenter who still wears a tool belt but also thrives in planning, coordinating, and leading projects in the field. You’ll serve as the on‑site leader—owning quality, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. This is not just a “show up and collect a paycheck” role—this is for someone who genuinely enjoys the craft, takes pride in their work, and leads by example.

What

You’ll Do
  • Lead day-to-day field operations across residential construction projects
  • Perform and oversee high‑end finish carpentry work
  • Coordinate and manage multiple trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.)
  • Plan and schedule work to ensure efficient project flow and timelines
  • Oversee job site quality with a “Do It Right the First Time” mindset
  • Maintain organization across job sites, materials, and workflows
  • Use Build Book for project tracking, communication, and scheduling
  • Communicate effectively with clients, trade partners, and internal teams
  • Drive to job sites (company vehicle or personal vehicle) as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter in residential construction
  • Strong background in finish carpentry
  • Working knowledge of all major trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and schedule multiple trades simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and oversight skills in the field
  • High integrity, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship
  • Positive attitude and strong team collaboration mindset
  • Flexible, coachable, and open to learning
  • Someone who brings energy, ownership, and enthusiasm to the job—not just doing the minimum
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ($80K+, flexible for the right candidate)
  • 100% Employer-Paid Health & Vision Insurance
  • PTO
  • End‑of‑Year Profit Sharing
  • Quarterly Cell Phone Reimbursement
  • Simple IRA with 3% Company Match
Additional Requirements
  • Background check
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
