Food Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production facility running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy solving mechanical problems, minimizing downtime, and working with a variety of equipment, this is the role for you.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Support upkeep of buildings, vehicles, and forklifts
• Respond to emergency repairs quickly and effectively
• Partner with vendors for parts and equipment needs
• Help identify and improve workplace safety as part of the Safety Committee
• Assist with general facility and equipment maintenance as needed

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (plant environment preferred)
• 1+ year of safety committee experience in food manufacturing (preferred)
• Strong skills in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, and compressors
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience maintaining forklifts and vehicles
• Organized, reliable, and able to handle emergency repairs

• Lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Climb ladders, work at heights, and move freely throughout the facility
• Comfortable in varying conditions (noise, dust, heat/cold, indoor/outdoor)
• Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and equipment operation
• Flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and on‑call emergencies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in mechanics or related field OR 5+ years of hands‑on plant maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
