Responsibilities- Provide service to customers by repairing and overhauling HVAC refrigeration equipment (compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices) efficiently and safely.
- Perform general repair on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
- Conduct preventative maintenance: diagnose malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality work.
- Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
- Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
- Process job tickets and work orders to the necessary departments promptly.
- Pick up, deliver, and install cases.
- Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
- Drive company vehicle safely.
- Work independently, be on emergency on‑call availability, lift up to 60 lbs., and sit/stand for several hours.
- Complete other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED.
- EPA certification.
- Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school (preferred).
- Minimum 3–4 years of commercial refrigeration experience.
- Good driving record.
