Job DescriptionCompletes routine and emergency maintenance repairs to all areas of the hospital, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, glass replacement, and general maintenance tasks such as installing bulletin boards, unplugging toilets, wall board repair, and painting.

Mon-Thurs 9pm-7am
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in general building maintenance, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, or plastering.
- Alternatively, a journeyman’s license/card in any of the above trades (copy must be attached to application).
Desired Attributes:
- Experience responding to local and campus-wide emergencies.
- Experience making repairs including fires, floods, broken pipes, stuck elevators, broken windows, and door hardware malfunctions.
- Experience providing skilled maintenance and repair to walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, painting, plumbing, minor electrical repairs, carpentry, mechanical equipment repair, sheet metal fabrication, door lock repair, installation and repair of door jams, closures, and fire systems.
- Ability to direct the fire department to the location of an alarm, provide assistance, reset fire alarm panels, and support hospital staff during emergencies.
- Experience installing items to walls such as pictures, bulletin boards, small cabinets, dispensers, and shower curtain assemblies using proper anchoring systems.
- Experience responding to plumbing emergency repairs such as leaking faucets, toilets, and unclogging plumbing fixtures.
