Job Title:
Welder
Join our team as a Welder, where you will work with conveyor equipment and gearboxes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns. Experience with MIG welding in fabrication and maintenance is essential.
Responsibilities- Weld and fabricate equipment as needed.
- Repair structural members or parts using various welding techniques.
- Fabricate parts based on job scope or projects.
- Operate vehicles and equipment such as forklifts.
- Gather and analyze information to solve problems.
- Inspect equipment and materials for defects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
- Experience with MIG welding and maintenance.
- Experience working on conveyor belts and troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work comfortably outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred experience working on gearboxes.
- Electrical knowledge (12/24V) is a plus.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read mechanical prints.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Work EnvironmentBe prepared to work outdoors in a large, uncovered yard. Physical attendance at the worksite is required, and comfort in working in various weather conditions is essential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
