Commercial Refrigeration Service Tech

Cool Sys is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our Technical & Maintenance team. In this field role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC-R systems for retail, commercial, and industrial customers. You will perform start-ups, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, replace components, and ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably. You'll follow safety-first practices, maintain detailed service records, support energy-efficient solutions, and deliver excellent, customer-focused service while collaborating with a team of skilled HVAC-R professionals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC-R systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and system start-ups
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using meters and schematics
• Recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerants in compliance with regulations
• Replace compressors, valves, motors, and other system components
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
• Communicate findings and repair options to customers and dispatch
• Follow all Cool
• Sys and OSHA safety procedures in the field
• Support energy-efficient and reliability-focused solutions for customers
• Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing technical training
